Piecrust Mix

Rosie's Apple Pie

Follow Breads From Anna Piecrust recipe with the following exceptions. Replace 1/4 milk (or water), with 1/4 cup of fresh apple cider. Plus, add 1 teaspoon cinnamon.

Apple Pie Filling:

Blueberry Pie

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups blueberries
  • 1/2-1 cup favorite sweetener
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 4-5 T. of cornstarch or arrowroot flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon (opt.)

Directions:

  1. Stir together all ingredients.
  2. Prepare piecrust according to directions on package.
  3. Put mixed ingredients into shell of piecrust and cover with top of piecrust.
  4. Bake for one hour.

Bulk-Pie Crust

Note: We recommend a scale to measure out your flour (most accurate)

Do not use a liquid measuring cup for dry ingredients.

Piecrust Tips

Press the bottom crust into the pie pan. Roll out the top crust between 2 pieces of waxed paper and put in freezer for about 20 minutes. Peel off one sheet and place crust on pie, then peel off the other sheet of waxed paper. Bake and enjoy!

Mock Pop Tart

Ingredients:

  • 1 Breads From Anna® Pie Crust Mix
  • 1/4 cup milk (or non-dairy drink, including water)
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten for brushing over crust (optional)

Filling:

1 Jar of fruit juice sweetened jam

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Coconut Custard Pie

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  • 1 Breads From Anna® Pie Crust Mix
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup canola oil

Follow directions on package for making pie crust. Prepare crust and set aside.

Maple Walnut Tart

Ingredients:

  • Breads From Anna® Pie Crust
  • 1/4 cup milk or water (or non-dairy drink)
  • 3/4 oil, canola works well
  • Please note: Our  Pie Crust  mix will make two - 9 inch pie crust. (You can freeze this Pie Crust)
  • For a thicker crust you may use the entire mix for one-9 inch Pie Crust (optional)

Filling:

  • 2 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 5 T butter, melted(or favorite butter replacement)

Fruit Pie

Ingredients:

Crust:

  • 1 Breads From Anna® Pie Crust Mix
  • 1/4-cup milk or water (or non-dairy drink)
  • 3/4-cup oil
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten for brushing over crust (optional)

Filling:

  • 6 cups blueberries/pears/apples or peaches
  • 1/2 cup maple crystals or your favorite sweetener
  • Juice of 1/2 of a lemon (optional)
